I met up with Miss Alexa with her mom and dad a few weeks ago to do some modeling headshots for her portfolio. For a six-year-old, she was a natural in front of the camera. What a doll, I think you will agree. 🙂
I just love this great family! I donated a free photo session to our church’s silent auction earlier this summer (supporting high school missions). How fun that Ann bid and won the session for all of her children and grand children!  They really are as fun (and stylish) as they look.
Clothing for a big group is tricky. You don’t all want to match, but you definitely want to coordinate. We decided to go with a blue color scheme (neutrals such as browns, beige, greys, and khaki) with shades of blue as the accent color (navy, blue, and light blue). Here’s some outfit examples I sent to Ann in an email. I would say they took my idea and ran with it!
“Boy- khaki cargo shorts, light blue polo; girl- navy dress, maybe a light blue cardigan over it or a matching bow; girl2- patterned dress w/ blue color floral; dad- navy plaid shirt, jeans; mom- cream color shirt, jeans, cute shoes.”
Thanks Ann…it was great to see everyone; you have such wonderful children and grandchildren. You are truly blessed. 🙂

Wow, I am behind in my blogging! This is from an engagement session way back in June. Engagement pictures are so much fun. I love capturing the emotion between a could that is happily in love. 🙂 And urban sessions are so fun for something different – this one was in downtown St. Paul. Amy and Brandon…congratulations to you!.jpg)
