Emily is Six Months! | Minneapolis Baby’s First Year Photographer

It’s no secret…six months is one of my favorite ages to photograph! I have been blessed with LOTS of six-month sessions lately, and will try to post all of the sessions in the next day or two!

If you are considering getting professional pictures done of your baby and he/she is near six months, I would definitely suggest setting up a session. Six months is such a great age for pictures for many reasons ~ babies are sitting up on their own, are almost always super smiley, and they can’t quite crawl yet so they have no choice but to sit there and smile away. 🙂 I also suggest booking a six-month session closer to 6 1/2 months because that is really when most babies are sitting up complete unsupported.

Welcome Cooper!

Phew! The past two weeks have been crazy, busy, and pretty amazing. On March 5th we welcomed our third child, Cooper, into our family. Cooper is the perfect addition to our little family (he’s welcomed by two older sisters) and we all have just loved getting to know him! I didn’t put my camera down for long…I’ve been looking forward to doing his newborn pictures for some time! It was a bit of a challenge to be both the mom and photographer at the same time, but I couldn’t pass up the chance to take the first pictures of our little guy.

I’ve gotten quite a few emails lately asking when I’m off of maternity leave. I am currently scheduling studio sessions again starting at the beginning of April, and my outdoor sessions will start in May. Feel free to contact me if you would like to set up a session! I look forward to hearing from you!

Minneapolis St. Paul Wedding Engagement Photographer Photography By Nealy | Kelsey + Andrew

I absolutely adore winter engagement sessions…they re so romantic, so fun, and yes a little cold but it’s definitely worth it! Kelsey and Andrew were just the sweetest couple to work with…we had a lot of fun, trudging in the snow today! They are so easy-going and natural together, I am so excited for their August wedding! Enjoy the pictures…Love is in the air! 🙂
