Abby | Twin Cities Senior Pictures

Q: I go to Eastview High School
A: I am planning on going to the University of Minnesota Duluth. At Duluth, I’m planning to Major in Environment and Sustainability.
Q: Since it is my last year of high school, my main focus is school and my grades, so I am currently not involved in any after school activities. However, I do have a job at Kid’s Hair that I love!
A: I absolutely adored getting my senior photos done. You did such a fantastic job and the photos turned out wonderful! It felt really cool to have a fun little photo shoot that got us all excited for senior year. As a girl, it’s nice to dress up and get professional pictures taken that I get to keep for the rest of my life.
Q: My clothing style is very preppy, but also a little casual. I feel like the outfits I chose as well as the pretty flowers really captured what I wanted my pictures to look like.
A: Nealy, you did such a fantastic job on Rachel’s photos, that I knew I wanted mine to be done by you. The photos turned out way better than I expected, so thank you again!
Q: Some advice I would give others about their outfits, is to definitely try them on before hand. It had occurred multiple times where I thought I wanted an outfit, but when I tried it on it didn’t look good. Also, work with what you have. If you want to go out and buy new clothes you totally can, but don’t feel pressured into thinking that you have to get something new. My clothes consisted of my older sister’s closet and mine.
A: As I said earlier, look in your closet or your sibling’s closet before you feel the need to go out and buy something new. I’m huge into affordable clothing, so thrifting your clothes is a major yes. Target, also, has some very cute and affordable clothes. Some of the major thrift stores I go to include: Style Encore, Unique, and TJ Maxx.
Q: My favorite outfit had to be my sheer shirt with the floral skirt and heels. With this outfit, I mainly posed in the flowers and that’s why it’s one of my favorites. The flowers on my skirt really went with the flowers in the field. I mean, I thought they would clash together, but it ended up accentuating all of the flowers together.
A: Some tips that I would give to others is to not stress too much about it. This should be a very exciting activity and one major thing to do to make it fun is to relax. Also, bring some of your own props like hats or anything else you would like in the photos. Get creative!
Q: No, there is really nothing I would have done differently. I maybe would have brought a comb for my bangs!
A: My favorite part about working with Nealy would have to be just how relaxing she is. She’s super comfortable to be around and always knew what pose would be best. I thought it would be really awkward and uncomfortable, but she made it super fun and just an extraordinary experience!
Q: My favorite celebrity is Selena Gomez. My favorite restaurant is Crave. My favorite drink is green tea and favorite food is vegan sushi. I love to shop at thrift stores. Senior year has been full of unforgettable memories. Someday I want to work on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
