Q: What high school do you attend?
A: I attend Eastview high school
Q: Do you have college plans? If so, what are they?
A: I plan on going to University of Minnesota Twin Cities or Rochester to major in biology for medical school.
Q: What extracurricular activities are you involved in?
A: I’m involved in Speech, Deca, FCCLA, and Best Buddies.
Q: How was your senior portrait experience?
A: My senior portrait experience was amazing! I felt comfortable and Ioved how the pictures turned out.
Q: What sort of style were you going for in your senior pictures? Was this accomplished?
A: The theme I was going for was a natural look in the summer and I wanted there to be a lot of nature in the background to go with it. The pictures taken really showed all of those aspects and it brought my theme to life.
Q: Why did you choose Photography by Nealy for your senior portraits?
A:I chose Photography by Nealy because I really liked the photos she took for the previous seniors and I knew she could do mine well.
Q: What advice would you give someone about planning outfits for their senior pictures?
A: I first started by looking in my closet for basic colors that I already had that would go with the theme I wanted. I then shopped for the rest of the stuff I needed. I chose colors that I liked and worked well for me. It’s something that shows who you are so have fun with it!
Q: Do you have any shopping advice? Please share where you purchased the main pieces you wore in your pictures.
A: Make sure you wear colors you actually like and think look good on you. I would shop at places like Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, Old Navy, Francesca’s etc. They have really good deals most of the time and have variety of styles. That’s where I shopped to get the last few pieces I needed for my senior pictures.
Q: What ended up being your favorite outfit, and why?
A: My favorite outfit was the floral dress I wore with the teal scarf. The colors I felt like really made the picture stand out more and turned out really nice.
Q: Any tips for how to prepare for senior pictures?
A: Stay calm and get rest before your senior pictures. Have fun and always have your confidence because it’s all about you!
Q: Is there anything you would do differently, if you could do it all again?
A: I don’t think I would anything differently other than maybe adding more accesories or pieces to my outfits.
Q: What was your favorite part of working with Nealy?
A: My favorite part about working with Nealy is how comfortable she makes you feel. Nealy kept the conversation going and always was saying encouraging words so the mood was great.
My favorite celebrity is Sam Smith. My favorite restaurant is Cossettas. My favorite drink is Chai Tea and favorite food is Pasta. I love to shop at Target. Senior year has been going too fast. Someday I want to be a surgeon.
